Matthew 3:5-6

5Then Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region about the Jordan were going out to him, 6and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, aconfessing their sins.

Matthew 21:31-32

31Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, Truly, I say to you, bthe tax collectors and cthe prostitutes go into dthe kingdom of God before you. 32For John came to you ein the way of righteousness, and fyou did not believe him, but gthe tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. And even when you saw it, you did not afterward hchange your minds and believe him.

Luke 7:26-29

26What then did you go out to see? iA prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. 27This is he of whom it is written,

Luke 20:6-8

6But if we say, ‘From man,’ all the people will stone us to death, for they are convinced that John was pa prophet.” 7So they answered that they did not know where it came from. 8And Jesus said to them, Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

John 10:41

41And many came to him. And they said, “John did no sign, but qeverything that John said about this man was true.”
